Yes, this late in the season. I had the bug, and was going through
withdrawal from having one a few years ago...

Bought a 'classic' (old) 1981 Tollycraft 26' sedan. Has FWC new
engine with less than 50 hours. Interior is clean but dated, as
expected for an old boat.

Didn't get a chance to check engine (boat is on land) but wrote sales
contract with my attorney (happens to be my wife) that states when
boat is put in water (2 weeks), all mechanical systems will be
functional and in working order or sale is cancelled.

Read up on Tolly craft before I bought; looks like a good boat; no
wood core.

So looking forward to spending weekends in Beach Haven, NJ...see you
on the water

Good luck, and keep that checkbook handy!

thanks harry...yep, checkbook has been put on alert!

...and keep the wife working! *;-)
Congratulations....hope you have lots of fun with it.

NOW, you gotta figger a way for your wife to suggest you buy boat
stuff. Maybe take her along and have her help with stuff for which
some new toy would make easier and suddenly she thinks buying it is a
good idea.
My wife had to help lift the kicker with the old mount and she asks
with scorn "Why dont you just buy a new one" Me: "Cuz it's $300 and
I'm cheap". Her: "Stop being like your cheap grandfather and just
buy it so we don't have to do this". YES.
