Not hardly... unless you mean that you can then locate them and kill
them.
Maybe I misread:
"The time required for a chigger to complete its meal varies with the

chiggers commonly take three or four days, and sometimes longer, to
eat their dinner. This is not surprising when you consider that this
is the first and last meal of the young chigger's life."
