Hate to tell you, but the first bank bailout happened during Bush's

There is plenty of blame to go around.

I agree! But, there are some that only want to blame Obama or Bush.
Instead
of blame, how about looking at the facts, what happened, and how to fix
it?
Nahhh... too straightforward.

The only real "fix" is to rebuild American industry and start making
things here again instead of just creating "prosperity" on paper.
That may bump into the carbon tax problem. China is building new coal
plants at a rate of 2 a week to fuel their factories. If we can't find
a way of coming up with the energy to compete with that in some
acceptable and economically feasible way we will never dig our way
out of this hole.

I agree. We certainly have the brains. We absolutely need to address the
global implications of China's plants. Doing something by ourselves (talking
greenhouse gases) isn't the ultimate solution. It needs to be a global
effort. We have (and will have more) influence around the world. We need to
use our influence and power for good.

Our "power" is diminishing rapidly. The country is broke and nearly
broken. The first thing we need to do is to repeal the all of the
entitlements at the federal level and tell those who receive them that
they are going to have to take on for the team again.
