I agree. We certainly have the brains. We absolutely need to address
the
global implications of China's plants. Doing something by ourselves
(talking greenhouse gases) isn't the ultimate solution. It needs to be
a
global effort. We have (and will have more) influence around the world.
We need to use our influence and power for good.

Our "power" is diminishing rapidly. The country is broke and nearly
broken. The first thing we need to do is to repeal the all of the
entitlements at the federal level and tell those who receive them that
they are going to have to take on for the team again.

Yeah, screw the poor created by the mis-notion of free market capitalism.
What would Jesus do?
Are you into mocking Christianity like so many of the other liberals
here?

Why would you think I'm mocking something that I grew up with and still hold
dear? You know nothing about me. I think you're grasping at straws. How dare
you question my faith.

Answer my question. What would Jesus do... support free market capitalism
that was and is responsible for disenfranchising the poor or would He
support the poor?

Hate-filled herring claims to a catholic. If so, he's worthy of
excommunication.

Maybe he's purchased some indulgences from the Church. That could
explain his morally bankrupt ideologies.
