Very nice, Vic. Damn, she could rent out a room and charge for fishing
excursions.
I always wonder at all the empty condos down there.
Most only see use in the winter.
This particular canal is maybe one of the best for fishing, as there
is absolutely no boat traffic there, as it dead ends and is about as
far as you can get from Charlotte harbor in Punta Gorda.
Saw that one resident had his boat tied to a dock the first couple
days we were there, then it was gone. Probably stored it and headed
north.
The canal is there is bigger than most, and the opposite shore is
undeveloped, being a bird sanctuary.
Here's the location for Google earth if you care to look at the dock.

You can paste it into the "Fly to" box as is. Pretty neat.
Only canal I fished down there. Some might be better.
But if you don't fish, it could get boring.
Think I like St. Pete Beach better for vacation, seeing as I don't
have a boat to tie to that dock.
Always something to see on the beach, even if you just look at the
surf and tidal pools. Course there's plenty else with other
attributes.
I like to swim some too.

I always enjoyed our visits to st. pete beach, great beach...damn near
drowned in our car during one sudden onset thunderbumper there and the
streets flooded at least halfway up the wheels, with a strong current.
