That's nice. Where exactly is vancoover.?

I have no idea...
on the other hand, Vancouver is the major Canadian city on the West
Coast. It's where the people of Seattle go for excitement.

I'm invited to visit up there (in the general area anyway) next August,
which is a slow time for me.... not sure of the exact date yet. They
live
on Camano Island.

Go for it...they must have a half decent boat living in that area.

I think so, but I don't know they even have one. They're friends of
friends.
Should be fun if they're anything like the people I know.

Vancouver is where old folks go to buy their drugs from Costco!!!

It's a beautiful city and the surrounding area, especially the San
Juan and Gulf Islands are not to be missed. Both US and Canadian
ferry services are an easy way to make it to the main islands and are
a joy to ride.

Camano is a pretty area if you're by the beach. Very near to the
gateway to the islands. August is normally spectacular so I'd highly
recommend you take them up on the offer.

We live through 9 mos of ever changing, mostly questionable weather to
experience it in August. That should tell you something.

It's a done deal... I just don't know the actual dates, so I can book a
flight.
