The history of hate speech indicates a strong correlation with hate
violence. People like the passenger are being incited to hate an ethnic
and religious group. Anyone who knows anything about history knows this to
be true. The current batch of hate-mongering asshole talking heads are
stoking the worst, most base emotions of people for the sole purpose of
promoting themselves. Unfortunately, this hate-mongering leads directly to
acts like this in an escalating choir, which culminates in fascism. The
person who attacked the cab driver is a sick, fearful guy, but he didn't
just come up with this on his own.
