Harry, you really tend to overplay the importance of a college degree.
Yeah, it's important and yeah,
you will probably earn more money over the span of your career, but it
certainly isn't a guarantee of
intelligence, success or capability. I've met and worked with some very
smart and talented people
who barely made it out of high school. I've also worked with multiple
degreed PHd's who could barely
tie their shoes.

No one said it was a guarantee of anything, but a degree is an indicator
of many things. Most of those here who denigrate a degree
weren't capable of achieving one.
