Simpson Laurence Sea Lion Windlass wiring needed

Does anyone have available the proper wiring arrangement for a Simpson
Lawrence SeaLion anchor windlass? Looking for both the recommended
wire gauges and the function for the various wires coming out of the
motor. If someone has a owners or shop repair manual I would be
interested in seeing a copy as I inherited the windlass but no
documentation and I haven't found anyone selling this older model.
Thanks.
It might be obvious from the color and gauge of the wiring to draw some
provisional conclusions. There will be heavy wires for the current from the
battery, and lighter ones for the remote.
I had a similar problem last year and managed to deduce which wire led where
by using a 12-volt battery and simply touching the terminals with the
various wires iuntil I found the right combination.
As I recall, my first attempt resulted in the "up" button on the remote
sending the winch into "down" mode. After that about 3 further changes of
wiring left me with a perfectly-operating winch!
There is however just a possibilty that you may get help and advice from
