I wonder if there will be any memorably sad anti-war songs
coming out of our trumped-up wars in Iraq and Afghanistan?

Hippies like Bob Dylan and Arlo Guthrie are not getting draft notices
so they are not involved enough in the war to write songs.
These days it would be a country or hip hop song that you would not
hear anyway.

BTW have you noticed that the music producers are trying to meld hip
hop and country? They have artists from both genres cutting duets and
the country acts are starting to do rap songs. It started with Colt
Ford and now Blake Shelton has one.

Don't confuse Rap with some of the Soul, and MoTown sound that is coming
back around, especially with some of the black artists/acts...

Soul, MoTown, Country, Bluegrass, Classical, etc, etc are all music. Rap is not.
