Speaking of Dr. Zhivago ...

The movie came out when I was living in Connecticut. I was "exploring"
at the time, dating different girls every week or so. All they wanted
to do was see "Dr. Zhivago". I must have seen it 5 times in 3 months.

I read the novel for a 10th grade book report for my favorite teacher of
all time, Mrs. Emma Ruff. She loved the report, and gave me an A+. Some
years later, she became principal of the school. Her husband is a
world-famous musician and is on the Yale faculty, or was the last time I
checked. Willie Ruff, part of the Mitchell-Ruff duo.
