Yeah, he'll be the only politician to run for office three times for

Democrats have dug themselves a very big hole in your state.
They want, work for, and hope for a bad national economy for two more years so they can blame it on Republicans in the hopes of winning a few elections. But the extra bad budget situation in California is due to Democrat tax and spend policies and Democrats have been in power there for so long that they can't blame it on Republican tax cuts and make it stick. People in California aren't stupid enough to buy that. They see their tax money going to illegal aliens and all manner of other such nonsense and they are getting sick of paying more than their fair share and getting nothing out of it but bigger tax increases in the future.
