This web site contains a Windows Media player virus that has
been recently publicized. If you visited the sight and the music
played chances are your computer is now infected with a nasty
worm.

It's a good thing I went to Window's Update a couple days ago
and download and installed the latest patch to eliminate the
Media Player vulnerability. Did you?

And this from PC World Magazine:

"Ever visited a Web site that suddenly started playing music
through your computer speakers? It may be annoying but you
can always turn down the volume. And, it's harmless right?
Maybe not.

"Researchers at EEye Digital Security recently discovered two
big holes in Widows music playback technology. The flaws,
which Microsoft rates "critical," could allow a hacker's code to
run amok in your PC exploiting a contaminated music file. The
hacker could then take over your computer and do something
nasty like delet your files.

"The problems lie in the way that Windows plays back a common type
of music file called a MIDI file, . . . "
