The 34XL that we are taking has a beautiful interior. But the plush interior is
a bit silly with it's leather cushions. The owner says they've never been a problem and there's two set's of custom sheets for all berths that were never used. Still, I can't imagine that this is a good idea, so I plan to spend on a second set of "standard" cushions. Before I spend 2.5K, does anyone have a thought on this? Am I too worried about the leather? RB |

Is this leather as in Biker Leathers, or Corinthian Leather, or synthetic, such as
UltraSuede? "Bobsprit" wrote in message ... The 34XL that we are taking has a beautiful interior. But the plush interior is a bit silly with it's leather cushions. Is this leather as in Biker Leathers, or Corinthian Leather, or synthetic, such
as UltraSuede? You know, I wasn't sure, nor is the owner. It smelled like leather, and the order form only says "C&C Leather." There was a Mercedes leather that wasn't leather either. But a few people told me that real leather was an option. It sure looks nice. RB |

Uhmm, have you seen it? If its UltraSuede it has a suede finish and is fairly soft and
thin. Although it looks like suede, its an industrial strength fabric. We have an imitation, SensaSuede, in a light color. After a one year trip with a 5 year old and three cats it needed a cleaning, but otherwise is as good as new. The Mercedes imitation leather is very good, but not as good as the real thing (an option, of course) - but that's a polished finish, not suede. In any case, I don't know why you would spend money on more cushions unless there's a problem with the first. Or are you planning on flipping this boat in a year? "Bobsprit" wrote in message ... there's a problem with the first. Or are you planning on flipping this boat in a year? It's unlikely that I will keep the newest C&C for more than 3-4 years. I'm thinking of buying an old Yawl or Schooner down the road. Alberg 37 Mk II Yawl is on my list. A beautiful boat. RB |

Has to be ultra suede. Leather on a boat that hadn't been drenched in =
mink oil or some other type of preservative would be green with mold = each spring...and C&C's are not known for their classy interiors but for = their functionality. Bobby dreaming again.... --=20 katysails s/v Chanteuse Kirie Elite 32 http://katysails.tripod.com "Women and cats will do as they please, and men and dogs should relax and get used to the idea." - Robert A. If the town idiot had an original brochure and separate standard
equipment/option list he would know what the boat had. S/V Express 30 "Ringmaster" Trains are a winter sport |
