You can be aware that you are in the ferry's
route while crossing it, and still get run over.

Why would anyone (besides you) be in the ferry's route if visibility and gear
made it unsafe?

Good lord!

Um, I think I mentioned that ther are two ferries.

No, you didn't.
The ferries are medium sized. Perhaps they don't operate late at night. We got
to port Jeff at 2:00 am or so and they were "sleeping." But come morning they
were booking back and forth.

Happy to have exposed you once again. Note that I posted pic leaving Port Jeff.
We've yet to see anything from you!

Oh, by the way... There are actually THREE Port Jeff Ferries. You
really know your stuff - NOT!

See how easily he gets busted. First he claims there are two, now there are
three!
We only saw two and quite a few sleeping tugs.
If you want to be technical, the Foxwood ferries are truly High speed, but they
weren't running this year.

You then went and googled to find out why you were so completely and
utterly wrong.

I googled nothing. High Speed has no specific meaning. Sorry. In this case it
refered to a big boat that went a lot faster than a sailboat.
You lose!

Thanks for giving us a good laugh at your expense!

Who's laughing. Few people here have been to Port Jeff and we only went twice.
Supposedly you live nearby and have already changed the ferry quantity three
times.
You're right...WE are laughing!

"What a dope! The PJ ferry is not even remotely considered a high
speed
ferry!

Please post links to the term High Speed vs. Low speed ferry. I'd like to know
what the cut-off speed is for a "slow" ferry. Can't find any mention of it in
Chapmans.

Thanks,

You have never posted any pictures that
prove you were there. We haven't seen any pictures of you aboard a
boat there, or the Thimbles.

You have NO pictured of me aboard Alien at all! Maybe it's all a ruse and
you've been played like a cheap piano!
Your choice!

Bwahahahaahahah! Oh the humanity!

Which has *what* to do with anything? For that matter, I'd call them
"Big" long before I'd call them "high speed"!

Really? Can't find any mentions for the word "big" as it applies to a ferry in
Chapmans. Could you clear it up for us? What is a BIG ferry size range as
determined by the CG or anyone?

Thanks again!

You don't even know when they are running, and
yet you are sure you can see them in fog or rain?

It's like kicking a dead dog...but...Please show the group where I said I could
see then in the fog in rain.
Hmmmm?

We're waiting!

Are you sure that you aren't actually a stink-potter trying to pretend
he's a sailor?

Why? Do powerboaters crash into tugs all of the time? Tell us about it?

Bwahahahaha!
