Default THE BORG HAVE LANDED...

It was a good game and puts the Patriots
right up there with the '72 Dolphins with
a 17 win season.

The Patriots dominated the game, but blew
several chances to score more.

I want to see Tom Brady back for two
more MVPs. I think he can beat Joe Montana's
three MVP's in a superbowl. Montana did
that in eight years. Brady is young
enough to at least tie this with two in
three years, and plenty of time to beat
that record.

First off, congrats Bart, your team looked good. It was actually a good game
for a Supor Bowl.

Hanging out in the yacht club watching the
superbowl, not a single person noticed
what happened at half-time. Not one!

I didn't watch Ugly Jackson's performance.
Like many people, I don't watch the half
time shows because they are boring.

The reason for Jackson's tit show was to
try to boost future half-time ratings. I
don't think it will work. Perhaps if an
attractive woman did it more tastefully,
without the Borg hood ornaments people
might have liked it.

All in all it was trashy, cheap, and lame.
I never liked Janet Jackson, now I hate
her, Timberlake, MTV, and CBS. I don't
think any of these entities should be
allowed to be involved in a Superbowl in
the future.

It took everything that was good about
the Superbowl, and made it dirty. This
is not the clean example we wanted to set
for the rest of the world. For that reason
I think it was particularly shameful. I
hope criminal charges are pressed against
all of them.

I think we should all boycott CBS and make
them pay where it hurts most, in their ad
revenues.

Do you have tits?

LOL. I thought that Michael Jackson had tits when I saw the pictures.

What the hell was that metalwork about? Am I old fashioned? It really
looks ugly.

I already pretty much boycott CBS. I only watch about ten hours of TV
per year. In fact our TV was off for so long that one day when we turned
it on, our dog was terrified and barked furiously at it... he was not a
puppy and the TV had never been on in his lifetime!

Anyway, pro sports is all about decadence anyway. The NFL is our modern
equivalent of the Roman gladiators. So many of them are druggies and
hoodlums that to get upset about the display of a naked female breast
(albeit one that has enough added silicone to caulk a hundred bathtubs)
is going a little overboard IMHO.

One thing that upset me was all the uncalled personal fouls. In one
play, late in the game, a blocker was keeping a rusher out of the
backfield by putting an arm around his neck, from behind, and kidney
punching him. Is that allowed now? If kidney punching is allowed, are
you allowed to do it three times, as this player did? It was center
screen, all seven people watching the game with me saw it. And that is
just the most obvious of at least a dozen.

The refs can't call what they don't see, but to my mind that is not an
excuse for deliberately flouting the rules. This is a much bigger moral
issue than the display of a floppy teat.

Congrats again to the Patriots for playing an excellent game. I hope
that what I saw was a fluke and not the regular practices of either team.

I don't see much TV. I turn off the sound on the commericals and then
forget to watch the rest of the progam.

The Patriots are clean cut players. Drug users
even good players like Irving Fryar are cut or
traded. These guys are not at all like the
Cowboy's.

I think the fouls balance off and the rules cover
them well enough. Generally, I'd say the game was
played clean enough.

I'm more concerned about the image Ugly Jackson's
tit projects to other people in the world. I don't
want people elsewhere in the world, putting the
moral people in the US in the same category as CBS,
MTV, and scum like Ugly Jackson.

I'm damn proud of the Patriots too. I think they
are great role models. Tom Brady is an outstanding
leader, a hard dedicated player worthy of emulation.
He is probably still too young to realize that he
has become a hero to many young kids starting out
in football.
