Default Your "WORST" Almost Boat....?

I don't think of my boats as 'stepping
stones'.

That means that you never looked upon your previous boats as learning tools to
an eventual end. While sailing the Mac, you NEVER thought you'd learn from her
and move up to a more comfortable yacht.
You may not like the term, "Stepping Stone" but it's what most of our boats
are. I love Alien, but I have dreams and plans to own a larger boat in warmer
waters. The moment I think that thought, Alien becomes a "stepping stone." I
wonder why the term is upsetting to you.

Not untill I decided to buy another boat. Up till then I was happy,
satisfied with what I sailed. Sorry for you that you can't understand this
..

Not me, I am satisfied with my boat. It's a shame you're not.

I have never been unhappy with any of my boats. I loved all 3 and STILL do.
Moving to a larger or smaller boat doesn't negate that. I sold the Catalina
because I wanted a larger boat in better condition. I sold the Pearson because
my wife and I wanted to buy something suitable for a family. We bought the C&C
because it allowed us to sail basically for free while planning for a larger
boat. All 3 are stepping stones and have been thoroughly enjoyed. At your age
you may find a 30 foot old boat "enough." That's fine. But as you'll note, many
sailors want more and slowly move up to larger boats. I sailed my first two
boats for 8 years. The 3rd was a lucky fluke. I know people who buy different
boats every few years. They just love saling and owning various designs.
What's the problem?

I fail to see the connection of the above with Crystal's purported joke,
other than perhaps that you want to demonstrate solidarity with

Hollywood's
peas-in-a-pod lunacy.

Don't you have any photos taken closer than 80 yds away?

I can tell that it isn't a Sunfish, though.
