Demonstrates that he's a true rum drinker. Moderation is for people who can't get good painkillers. I've always felt that moderation is for people who either 1- are too clumsy and/or flabby to dance naked on the tabletops, or 2- have to get up and go to work sometime in the next few weeks. Anyway the best drink is the one in your hand, when nothing else is available. All other discussions on the subject approximate religion. Spoken (or posted, rather) like a true man of good sense. Rum isn't my fave but will look for Bundaberg & Inner Circle Double OP to try. These days I'm enjoying an afternoon sip of John Powers Gold. Regards Doug King |

I think you're confusing us. This is your issue. It's a pretty
common psychological pathology when this happens. Get help as soon as you can titboy. "Horvath" wrote in message ... Just the memory of buying a Cal zinfandel still hasn't faded sufficiently. Fortunately some of the cheaper Cal reds were quite drinkable. I have no pretensions of 'palate' when it comes to wine, BTW. One of the nice things about living in Australia is just how many different boutique wineries there are about and how many different, very drinkable wines you can buy for less than $AUD 10 a bottle. Oz of course is in a much higher price bracket when buying wine. PDW |

I live right next to the Niagra Valley, home to some very fine wineries. Don't get me wrong I do drink wines from other countries, I have had some very nice Sherazzes (sp?) from Oz. I drink a fair bit of stuff from Eur., mostly Pinot Noirs, Cab-sav, I must admit an inordinate like of Chardonays, non-oaked of course. Cheers Marty |
