Default Cross cut vs radial

Cross cut spinnakers have no advantages over radial cuts in terms of
performance -as evidenced by the fact that not one cross cut existed in
the entire AC fleet. But they do have one other advantage (that does not
include being promoted by Doug) -what is it?

Cheers

They're easier to recut and use as car covers.

That'll make three advantages -I can think of another!
