Funny you should mention that - there was a study of Canine DMA published
recently that was looking at the "distance" of various breeds from their wolf
ancestors. There were some obvious results, like huskies and other sled dogs
are "original" breeds, but they also found the Pekinese are an ancient breed,
and one that as billed as an "ancient Egyptian dog" (I forget the name) was
developed in the last few hundred years.

Yes, I heard that science program too.

There are a number of interesting studies of dog DNA, linking behavior
to genetics among other important questions. Easier and cheaper than
doing the same research on people... although the implications are a
little scary...

Good one, Navsprit.

Have you realized the difference between Boston and Baltimore, yet?

I've got this $500 Silk Jacket..... it billows in the wind when
sailing..... and when the wind is just right, the boat is on heel and the
sun is shining..... the feel of it against my skin makes my nipples erect!
Go figure! :-)

My silk long johns at minus 40 while surfing a snowmobile through virgin
powder snow in the remote boreal forest of the sub arctic is sufficent to
make any male "erect"......

..... either that or you're a Club Racer that subscribes to a newsgroup under
the lame name of "Loco"... even an overdose of viagra couldn't get you "up"
at that point!!

Right On Joe...... just blew the competition away by having a letter of
reference sent to HQ that the entire Project was back on track since I was
hired. Now that feels good! I'm directing Engineers all because I have the
experience to do so.

It's like sailing.... I don't totally understand why I make some
decisions.... just that they are correct for the circumstances. It's an
innate reflex based on experience. You can tell someone that has "water
experience" just as easily as someone that has "construction experience"....
it's all in their rational and logic.... based on years of experience.

You are of course totally in error...... for nature did indeed create such
a creature.... for our pleasure and at our beckoning. We had nothing to do
with alteration of the laws of nature... only it's abuse to our satisfaction
Doug.

Understand this and you understand much more than you currently do.......

Yes Donal... that deserved a positive point score..... leave it to to Bob

thumb on several attempts.
