Are you ready for Hurricane season 2004?
Looks like its going to be an active year. http://www.cnn.com/2004/WEATHER/05/1...ast/index.html We rode out 2 hurricanes and several tropical storms on RedCloud. Things we do to get ready include. Visit our local hide aways up Ceder Bayou, The Trinity River, Brazos river and select spots we feel we can hold our own. And we have 8 telephone size pilons to tie to if we decide to weather the storm here in the slip. We keep our water and fuel tanks full We keep on hand an extra 300 feet of 1&1/2 inch line. Keep the generator ready to go in a moments notice. Keep an eye on the weather. Arrange for the autos to be parked on secure high ground. Keep extra radios and flashlights and batteries at the ready. What do you do if anything to be ready for a big hurricane? Beside put out shackles and thimbles? Joe |

What do you do if anything to be ready for a big hurricane?
I move my boat to a marina with floating piers and go home and watch TV. S/V Express 30 "Ringmaster" "No shirt, no skirt, full service" |
