I thought you were referring to the possibility of using real anti-freeze,
which also causes hallucinations (and eventually death...) Wouldn't know about acid but I do know that horses get really weird when you blow pot smoke up their nostrils.... We have gallon jugs of water that we fill at home or at the dock on the boat so we don't drink from the tank....even with chlorine drops in it, i still do not trust it and it is usually lukewarm...yech..... My dog does not think we're weird...he thinks we're God..... "DSK" wrote in message ... katysails wrote: Nah...we never drink water from the tank... How do you "never" drink from the tank? .... but the dog does...is that why he does those funny things??? Dogs think *we* do funny things. It's not for me to say who is right! "Did you drink the Kool-Aid" was sort of a hippy joke. At one point I read quite a lot about LSD and it was used experimentally on dogs... cats too. It's hard to tell if a dog is hallucinating... most observers agreed that they seemed to be. Makes me wonder if they were hallucinating smells. Side note- A tripping cat is often afraid of mice. At least, that's what the researchers wrote. DSK |
If we're down on the beach he'll wade in without prompt, but he has never
shown any desire to leap off the boat, except to leap into the dinght (which can be a very exciting event...and sometimes damp...)but hey, he doesn't chase rabbits or squirrels either...he hasn't forgotten that cocker spaniels are evil devils, though...the other day we were walking by a yard where a young one ran up to the fence and he peed on it....he will never forget Reggie.... Nor will anyone on A-dock. He apparently left a calling card on the steps just above the ramp and it never got cleaned off. I don't know why Don bothered to take him to the dog walk area. He never made it, as far as I could tell. Max |

Supposedly it tastes good to dogs, too. ... Wouldn't know about acid but I do know that horses get really weird when you blow pot smoke up their nostrils.... Do tell. Was this in a research report that you read? We have gallon jugs of water that we fill at home or at the dock on the boat so we don't drink from the tank....even with chlorine drops in it, i still do not trust it and it is usually lukewarm...yech..... If you treat the system right, it'll be fine. We have a water filter for drinking water, but the water out of the tank is no different from the tap water. Is the U.S. turning into one of those 3rd world countries where you can't drink the water? My dog does not think we're weird...he thinks we're God..... We had Chesapeakes for years... they're too smart and too strong-willed to fall for that. Our current dog is a pound hound and I'm not sure of his religious beliefs... he is learning, though. DSK |

I know it's clean, but I don't like the taste. So I fill a few jugs at home to take on the boat. Scotty |
