She' had knee surgery before and been in the same condition..she's very
plucky and will fight it....

She was beginning to show the fatigue of the fight this year after the
latest round of surgery. She oft complained about her beautiful home in
Florida, just sitting there with its wonderfully therapeutic pool and
beautiful view, while she was "stuck in Michigan." Of course she didn't say
much while Charley, Ivan, and Frances were paying their visits to her
"lovely home." I think they'll stay in FL this next summer, but I've been
wrong before about that.

and their boat has been for sale in and off doe
long time now....no one wants that hulking thing...you ever been on it

when it's been up on full tilt? you have to use radar to navigate because
the
helm can't se what's out front...

It's such an ugly, bulbous waste of fiberglass. He's dropped the price
twice, but still no tire kickers. I think they'll have to let it go at a
fraction of its market value to get rid of it. I would.

A humungous old Silverton at the old marina....was the joke of the dock
because the people who own it aren't really physically fit enough to handle
it, so it's become a cottage at the end of the dock.....thing sucks gas
worse than anything and is unmanageable...has so much freeboard that the
wind whips it around when they're backing up...the problem is, the gas dock
is right behind them and they've hit it several times. They used to have
their now deceased son come over to back it out for them.....

A forty foot Silverton express cruiser from the late 80s. Truly one of the
most butt-ugly powerboats ever built, not to mention a terrible performer.
The design was from that school that optimized interior volume at the
expense of everything else: aesthetics, performance, economy of operation.
It's a real truck of a boat, no offense to your Peterbilt.

I think it would be ideal for a Viking funeral pyre.
