I noticed in your sailing photos the presence of a toroidal foam cushion,
the kind used by people who have had hemmorhoid surgery. Did you experience any rectal soreness on your trip? Were you able to "accomodate" the locals? Gilligan "JG" wrote in message ... It's picked for a best fit of data. Mount Everest is not the tallest mountain when measured from the center of the earth. Chimborazo in Ecuador is. The ocean has depressions in it all over the place. Gravity is not the same over the earth's surface. The world standard for sea level and the gravitational constant is located here on Gilligans Island 10 meters from the stern of the Minnow, right next to the Captain Neal shrine. The Professor keeps it calibrated on a daily basis. Hope this helps. Gilligan "The YoYoMan" wrote in message ... Ep! where is the zero point of "sea level" (gps coordinates) ???? in what sea/ocean ???? in what point ??? how is measured altitude of mountains ? how mach meters have the Gaorisankar (Everest) ??? some people say 8.848 others 8.850... what is correct ??? Dead sea is at "sea level" ??? the big depression in water surface in Indic ocean of -300m. is also at "sea level" ?? after indic tsunami and global changes in planet "sea level" also sufer variations ??? a reveure des Catalunya, the YoYoMan :-) |

I have no experience with hemorrhoids, but feel free to tell us all about
them, given that you would have to be an expert with all the activitiy you're used to. Actually, don't. -- "j" ganz @@ www.sailnow.com "Gilligan" wrote in message nk.net... I had one once almost 20 years ago. I didn't know what it was at first.
Would you like to see a picture of it? Love, Gilligan "JG" wrote in message ... Primary first order bench marks are established at or near tide
stations. US Department of Commerce has charter for US. Data is available from NOAA in Maryland. Satellites can be used but are less accurate. NOAA has some publications describing the methods, theory and technique of first order levels. Mean sea level will vary with provincial gravity. Rising mean sea level is as evasive as global warming. |
