Default The BVI

Looks like a crowded tourist trap full of weekend warriors. A regular
amusement park.

Joey is jealous because he can't afford it. It was in fact not crowded at
all. The only place where even the mooring balls came close to being filled
were Soper's Hole. The rest of the places were wide open. Even the locals
commented that it was a combination of a poor US economy and a bad hurricane
season.

Jeeeze every picture you posted look like a busy seaport full of
weekend warriors on rent-a-boats.

And that was the slack season?

Who needs expensive meals? Ill go to Belize ect where I can eat all the
lobster I want for free, and rum is dirt cheap.
Who wants to be in a pack or turons?

Yes, what does that have to do with choice of sailing destinations? Why
sail in a pack of turons when you can do better?

It is shoulder season. Obviously, you're incapable of clicking on links, but
that doesn't surprise me. I've been to Belize, which is nice, but it was BVI
this year. Why do you have a problem with that?

It never really is, except such places as Foxy's or Bomba's Shack during
full moon parties. Which is a good thing.

The only place where even the mooring balls came close to being filled were
Soper's Hole.

. . . which is typical. But West End is still worth the stop. The food
and drink is great, and it's fun to watch to locals play grab-ass after
sundown. Also a great market there with everything needed for
re-provisioning.

The rest of the places were wide open. Even the locals commented that it
was a combination of a poor US economy and a bad hurricane season.

Did you visit the Willie T?
