Default Whitlock Mamba!

Whitlock Mamba superior to Whitlock Cobra!

The Cobra is a mid-level system! Value Priced!

For serious, strength, reliability and feel real racers use the Mamba! Used
in America's Cup yachts!

Swabbie's blather has him foaming at the mouth! Oh his poor colon!

Lewmar offers a comprehensive range of steering equipment based on 3
different mechanical concepts. This product portfolio offers today's boat
builders a solution for any steering installation.

Lewmar Steering System Range includes

ConstellationT - Wire Steering

CobraT - Rack & Pinion

MambaT - Rotating Torque Tube & Bevelhead

----------------------------------------------------------------------------
----
ConstellationT - Wire Steering
Wire steering systems are suitable for yachts from 25' 7m to Maxi's. This
diversity has enabled Lewmar's ConstellationT system to develop with
feedback from various types of boat builders. Wire systems are ideal for aft
cockpit installations, either single or tandem. Wire in conduit systems are
also available for centre cockpit installations. The conduit system
overcomes the difficulties that are experienced when using open wire in
centre cockpit installations.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------
----
CobraT - Rack & Pinion
CobraT uses rack and pinion in the head of the pedestal to provide the
necessary mechanical advantage required for sensitive steering. CobraT has
been designed for use in aft cockpit sailboats and is a world leader in its
field. Lewmar also offers customised CobraT systems for use in non aft
cockpit applications.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------
----
MambaT - Rotating Torque Tube & Bevelhead
The ultimate steering system providing feedback and strength; Both features
that are unique to gear box and bevelhead steering systems. MambaT is a
suitable steering system for a diverse range of sailboats from blue water
cruisers to America's Cup contenders. It offers unique features such as
power assisted steering whilst retaining versatility in the type of
installation it can be used in i.e. Tandem system.

Whitlock Mamba superior to Whitlock Cobra!

The Cobra is a mid-level system! Value Priced!

Cobra suggested for vessels below 40 LOA and 17'000 lbs.
Can't you READ????
The Cobra system is more than TWICE the price of the Edson system found
on most boats and better than the one on the Scanmar 35.

But the superior system is also suited:

In fact, it will work in larger vessels - which means it is heavier duty!

And superior!

Your Cobra System is operating near design limits!

The Mamba is superior! By far!

How is it better? The Scanmar is superior in nearly every respect.

Hmmm...Cobra reccomended for vessels that weigh 3 tons more, yet it's
at it's design limits! That must also mean it's a poor pick for your
Scanmar 35!!!
Caught again. You haven't score even ON point!!
Keep trying...the law of averages might kick in!

Scanmar modifies the steerage with a recirculating ball helicoid gear
reduction system. All stainless steel! And superior!!

Well...the 17'000 lb spec was made up and STILL your math is wrong! I'd
still be 5 tons lighter than maximum safe load...if it was real to
begin with. You can't even win IMAGINARY points!!!
