Looks intriguing, though you would have to race it, then get involved in the
rigamarole of finding crew, and everything else. Course you could always
limit your racing to singlehanded distance races.

One for anyone. Nice boat. I'd read about it earlier
in the other posts on the topic. I like the fact it will
fit on a trailer with the mast down, in a container. That
makes it an international boat. I expect it will do well.

I like the light weight also.

Are you going to buy one John?

I did have a crazy thought. Could be dry sailed at my current marina, and,
let's face it, during the peak sailing season there's more often too little
wind as opposed to too much.

I didn't really look the boat over completely. Frankly,
one characterisitic of racing boats, reefing, is usually
lacking. It is a bit heavy for a hoist, but I don't think
you need it with a ramp--so dry sailing is very practical
as is winter storage on a trailer at home. If you had
space for a shipping container, you could garage the
damn thing in the winter, or even at the marina!

I wonder how hard it would be to step that three
piece mast. It makes me a bit nervous. I see some
failure happening there.

The price is reasonable, and you could haul it on a
trailer--with only a 9' beam you might be able to
take your chances and avoid permits when you towed it.

This is a very well thought out boat. The Sailing
Anarchy site deserves mega kudos for supporting
and making suggestions to perfect this boats design.

Everything was carefully considered in the design
and it shows. Building it in China will keep the cost
down to affordable levels.

If I didn't have too many boats I'd be tempted to get
one myself. If you get one, invite me up for a sail. I'd
like to try it.
