Are they? You can call your's "Oz Moses" when you buy it. Donal, do you know ANYTHING about boats??? Tayana, Catalina, Valiant and just about every make had blister problems at one time or another. The repaired Valiants are a great deal (for now) according to Sailing Magazine. So here's what you do with blisters (cuz you don't know). You have them repaired before the sale and sail. And you knock the price down by thousands in the process. If I found a Tayana that was corrected in such a manner, I'd be happy to save a few dollars. With every post it becomes clear how little you've studied boats, design and such. Beneteau was designed to lure your type....and it worked!
