Since
she's female it should be very easy to use. And since

I don't know how cheap it was but I'm really likeing the
Fuji Finepix2650.

Is it simple to use? You know, a girl camera?

So simple even a man can use it:^p~~

Yeah, or she could upload the ones she wants to Sony Image
Station and they'll send her prints for 19 cents each.

Scotty,

I'm really out of my class giving Photo advice BUT I like the printer as
much as I like the Camera.

I like the ability to down load to the VCR ($10) thru the plug in. That
is how I view/store my snap shots. When people like a photo I can print
that photo in the quantity that is needed right then and there. (The
camera can duplicate right from the TV screen very well) It isn't salon
Quality but it sure as hell great snap shot quality.

The printing paper is a little expense but really not that bad and when
you don't have to print out every picture its a damn good bargain.

As you know, I'm a Webber and I can keep a scrap book of photos on file
for my Web Page or a single picture attachment, to any Post.

Scott, I'd give up my GPS before I'd give away either my Camera or
Printer/charger/dock. They are both part of my life right now!

By the way, if your Daughter has a Computer, The Camera comes with a
plug in cable to down pictures to the Computer.

Again, A great Christmas Present that will be used year 'round, if it
isn't a bother.

My Camera does fall into the Point & Shot category and the printer gives
me the ability to change the size and crop photos.

Hope the Birthday Party was fun.

Ole Thom
P/S my Web Page is made up of picture from my camera. A lot duplicated
from other prints

Or, she can upload to webshots or ofoto, and order prints from them.

Scotty,

Just about this time last year, I brought a Kodak Easy Share

CX7330 for
under $140 at K-Mart on a Christmas Sale. I also brought a

Kodak printer
at the same time, also around $140. It had a dock and battery

charger
for the camera. Great Prints!

I needed to purchase a plug in cable to connect to the VCR

($10) thru
Kodak e-bay.

I'm not a Camera freak, so I asked Nutsy's advice. I wanted a

pocket
size camera but big enough so this old man
could operate it with my old fingers and eyes. He suggested the

Oly.
K-Mart had them on sale for just under $300. Right next to them

was the
Kodak Easy Share for $140 and the print/dock/charger at $140.

It was the perfect set-up for me. I love the damn thing.

You have been looking at the picture on my WebPage ever since.

I'm attaching a photograph of the camera with this post,

setting in the
charger/printer. The Camera is about 3" by 4" and about 1"

thick. Has
Auto focus, flash, zoom lense, and auto lense cover and a 18

picture
internal memory/ with a plug in for extra memory.

My choice, for what it's worth.
Good Luck

Ole Thom

Shopping at Mao Mart is a bad idea. All of the pharmacy chains offer the
same services, some of them will let you send the images to them, then go to
the store and pick up your prints.

Scotty, the Epson R320 sells for 115 bucks at Circuit City and prints
photo quality prints borderless 8.5X11. It's a bit slow, but pretty
durable and the prints are excellent even compared to my 600.00 dollar
larger format Epson. It's well worth buying.

If Ole Thom's choice of camera is on par with his choice of boats
it would not be wise to buy the same camera Thom bought

Neal, Old Thom is sailing a Gulf 29 from Capital Yachts. I looked into
them for a while as they are built like a brick ****house and loaded with
charm. The 29
is an even better sailor than I will ever be.
And either are five times more boat than I own...and then more then my
wife and kid.

PS: Thom is also older than you by a healthy margin and STILL sailing.
I'm not. I'm motoring or stayng at the dock, thimbols and shackles ready.

But, you're responding to my troll and Thom's not.

Troll or not he still has the better boat than I will ever own, and
nothing can change that.

Capt. Rob listened to me and left alt.sailing.asa. I told him he was a liar and everybody knew
he was a liar and he should just leave. He was ruining the news group. He was smart enough to
realize it. He thought about how everybody disrespected him. He thought about how much time
he was wasting. He thought about how he really despised most of the people here. He thought
about how he could better spend his time with his family. He knew it was time to move on.
How long can any sane person keep listening to people who haven't a clue and who never
appreciated what he did even before he turned into somebody who ended up just posting lies
and blood and gore things.
I think that's why the real Capt. Neal sailed off into the sunset. There were some people who
hated him. Some people who wanted him gone. Some people who tried to get him banned. He decided,
let them have what they want. He's showed them be careful what you wish for. You might just
get it. So now here's the group seeing Capt. Neal under ever new subscriber who posts. Here's
people like Tom and others wishing for the good old days. Here's people pretending to be him.
Here's endless threads about this and that he used to say.
So a couple people who hated Capt. Neal ended up making the group mediocre for all but themselves
when it was something special for most everybody when he was captain of it.
That's life..... When your complacent you get what you deserve.

Cheers,
Ellen
