When we went to the Norwalk boat show Suzanne filled out a raffle for a
West Marine contest. We just found out we won a Mercury 4 stroke Outboard!!!!! The lucky part is that there was a commincation problem because she changed her cell # and my firewall was blocking mail. We found out with two business days to spare! On the 15th they would have awarded it to someone else. The bad part is I getting ready to buy a 6hp so now I'll see if they will let me trade up to that. This is the second contest we won. Last time I won a VHF!!! Utter Coolnesssssss!!! That and our new dinghy soon to come! RB 35s5...a damn lucky boat! NY |

Gee, do you think he was lying? Sorry, Doug. What info would you like. Owner's name is Arthur Rodriguez (check SP) and he just turned 73. He was indeed about Turner's winning boat in 79. He's currently living in the St. Petersburg area and owns a Tartan 10. I'll find out the boat name if you like. I'm flying down to see him again on the 19th. I was able to find a couple of crew pics online and, while he's quite a bit younger, I recognised him. I also have a pic of him on his/our 35s5 taken a few weeks ago if you'd like to see that. To his credit I've never seen anyone look after a boat the way he does. Both are kept pristine and ship shape. RB 35s5 NY |

He's currently living in the St. Petersburg area and owns a Tartan 10. Well, the Tartan Ten class association would like him to join. There are only 2 in Florida and neither are owned by a man with that name; nor are there any in the other 49 states; nor can I find any T-10 race results that I can find with that name. Of course, that merely shows that your claims cannot be verified... is anybody surprised? Does it *prove* you are lying? No. It's a small world Bubbles, far too small to tell lies on the internet. Especially lies that are so easily checked on. But this is why I think you're stupid- you've seen other people tripped up, and you haven't learned. To his credit I've never seen anyone look after a boat the way he does. Yeah, I'll bet so. BTW how about giving some investment tips from your "very nice" stock portfolio? DSK |

NY You forgot to mention that when you opened the outboard motor box, it really contained a 225 HP model that you then sold for more than retail which you then used to purchase a new dinghy and motor, and then with the cash left over you went out to a five star restaraunt in which Suzanne found a very expensive diamond ring in her soup which you sold and bought a 60' pilothouse cutter in which you discovered 7 million dollars in unmarked bills stuffed into the seat cushions and then you bought waterfront property in LaJolla and, in digging for rose bushes, you dug up Greybeards long lost treasure... Aaahaahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaa!!!!! Amen! BC |
