You all know who I'm referring to...... Bobsprit. [aka Capt.Rob]

Let's look at the facts:

He requires vast amounts of electricity to power his many "conveniences"
He considers a vessel poorly equipped if it does not have Air Conditioning
He insists on "Home Theatre" and "Surround Sound" systems aboard.
He never describes the sailing gear on his boats... only engines &
interiors.
He makes sailboat purchases based on interior volume and speed potential
He does not , nor has ever raced a sailboat despite the instance for speed.
He believes a swim platform in cold polluted water is a design improvement
He uses his engine 90% of the time and claims scheduling issues.
He has never had the nerve to fly his spinnaker.....
He desires sufficient batteries to run all his "conveniences" & lights all
night.
He considers "Motorsailing" the same as sailing.
He is bitterly jealous of Doug's Trawler.
He thinks Mylar sails are better for cruising because they're faster.
He thinks Veneer is real wood.
He believes he needs an intercom... because the engine is always on.
He requires a genset as basic survival equipment aboard for day sails.
He considers the size of the head more important than the quality of the
rigging
He can't plot a simple course because he doesn't know how to navigate.
He thinks we don't know that Conmmode Joe is his sock puppet.
He doesn't realize My Nordica 30 is 10 times the boat his B 35s5 is.

Come on now Bobsprit... deep down you know you want a Nordhaven Trawler.
you know you are a Power Boater! Sailing just isn't for you. Make the wife
happy and buy a big frickin' duel diesel engine 46 footer with a genset.

You all know who I'm referring to...... Bobsprit. [aka Capt.Rob]

You left out my favorite hand cast Commodore Joe Redcloud Moron

Let's look at the facts:

He requires vast amounts of electricity to power his many
"conveniences"

As all good sailor do. Sailing without jamming to the back street boys,
or NCYNC would be lame.

He considers a vessel poorly equipped if it does not have Air
Conditioning

Indeed, why sweat like pigs. Now all I do is dust my rolls of fat with
the boys baby powder, crank up the AC's and I'm happy and comfortable.

He insists on "Home Theatre" and "Surround Sound" systems aboard.

That right, and if you need to impress the dock crowd noting is better
than leaving the door open and letting them glance in at a real
theatre. Besides I can watch movies like Titanic and it's more real on
my boat.

He never describes the sailing gear on his boats... only engines &
interiors.

Sailing gear is boring, fine veneer and a clean engine matters much
more.

He makes sailboat purchases based on interior volume and speed
potential

The volume of my stereo is important, and I've had he up to 64 knots on
HWY 241. She would do better but all I had was a yard trailor

He does not , nor has ever raced a sailboat despite the instance for
speed.

It is not about racing, it's all about winning.

He believes a swim platform in cold polluted water is a design
improvement

LIS is cleaner than any Canada water, I drink it all the time.

He uses his engine 90% of the time and claims scheduling issues.

I'm a busy movie director, real eastate agent, yacht broker, writer,
photographer, astrologer, and a Mr Mom. I need to get where I'm going
when I want.

He has never had the nerve to fly his spinnaker.....

Liar....what's a spinnaker?

He desires sufficient batteries to run all his "conveniences" & lights
all night.

The night light is for the my boy.....really it is.....really

He considers "Motorsailing" the same as sailing.

It is, ask the commordore.

He is bitterly jealous of Doug's Trawler.

Another lie, Its Dougs life I'm jealous of.

He thinks Mylar sails are better for cruising because they're faster.

And with duct tape stronger!

He thinks Veneer is real wood.

It is real thin wood.

He believes he needs an intercom... because the engine is always on.

Wrong, every capt has an intercom to page crew, you never watch Love
Boat do you?

He requires a genset as basic survival equipment aboard for day sails.

Keeps the CPR equiptment charged and ready.

He considers the size of the head more important than the quality of
the
rigging

My ass needs a quality Commode.

He can't plot a simple course because he doesn't know how to navigate.

Bull, last time I sailed I hat a rock in a charted area.

He thinks we don't know that Conmmode Joe is his sock puppet.

Good Lord Josie not another dopey one

He doesn't realize My Nordica 30 is 10 times the boat his B 35s5 is.

Wrong my 35s5 has done 60kts lately

Come on now Bobsprit... deep down you know you want a Nordhaven
Trawler.

My 35s5 has room for everything

you know you are a Power Boater! Sailing just isn't for you. Make the
wife
happy and buy a big frickin' duel diesel engine 46 footer with a
genset.

She can't afford it:0(

Wow, Mooron...that's a lot of work! I won't leave you hanging.

He makes sailboat purchases based on interior volume and speed
potential

Well, of course. We like a fun fast boat and sleep aboard on the
weekends. Should we have sought out a slow cramped boat like yours?

He does not , nor has ever raced a sailboat despite the instance for
speed.

Well, of course I have raced, but what does racing have to do with
simply enjoying a good performance boat? Do you need to race to enjoy a
fast car? You clearly have issues.

He believes a swim platform in cold polluted water is a design
improvement

Well, let's assume the water is polluted...most is. And lets forget the
3 months of good swimming temps enjoyed here. The swim platform is
still a nice place to sit or use for the dinghy or mount a big TV
antennna.

He uses his engine 90% of the time and claims scheduling issues.

Now this is just plain silly. We have rarely used the motor on any of
our boats. In fact no one else here has posted more pics of their boats
sailing than I.

He has never had the nerve to fly his spinnaker.....

I posted a pic of Alien with the chute up some time ago.

He desires sufficient batteries to run all his "conveniences" &
lights all
night.

And so? Most boats can do that.

He never describes the sailing gear on his boats... only engines &
interiors.

I guess you missed the posts on my superior steering system, rod
rigging and mylar sails!?

He thinks Mylar sails are better for cruising because they're
faster.

Didn't you just SAY I don't mention sailing gear?

He considers the size of the head more important than the quality of
the
rigging

Good rigging aint worth crap if you can't crap.

He can't plot a simple course because he doesn't know how to
navigate.

I'm quite good when it comes to a simple course in fact.

He thinks we don't know that Conmmode Joe is his sock puppet.

Based on the computer skills shown in this group, you probably do
beleive that.

He doesn't realize My Nordica 30 is 10 times the boat his B 35s5 is.

I thought your boat was 1.01 times my boat until I read the Nordica 30
wsebsite. Now we all know it's even worse than Doug's Hunter 19.

Didn't for a second think you would...

Well, of course. We like a fun fast boat and sleep aboard on the

Why did you buy an off the rack, plastic look-a-like then? My boat isn't
cramped unless you're grossly overweight.... are you telling me you're too
fat for most boats?

Well, of course I have raced, but what does racing have to do with
simply enjoying a good performance boat? Do you need to race to enjoy a
fast car? You clearly have issues.

If you own a ticket collector.. you'll have tickets. If you own a fast boat
you'll win races. You have neither Bob.... and yet I have my name on
several Regatta Cups and races as well as several speeding tickets. That
last sentence of yours "issues"... sounds like a Ganz comment.

Well, let's assume the water is polluted...most is. And lets forget the

TV Antemma???? I rest my case.

Now this is just plain silly. We have rarely used the motor on any of
our boats. In fact no one else here has posted more pics of their boats

Most of your photos are staged... I can hear you now..."Suzanne, can we
turn off the engine and take a photo of us sailing, don't worry I'll take
down that annoying jib so you can resume tanning in a second and we won't
heel much in this wind. It's for the boys who always make fun of me"

I posted a pic of Alien with the chute up some time ago.

Shure Bobsprit... Shure!

And so? Most boats can do that.

Bwahahahahahahahahahahahahahaahaaaa.... Oh Boy!

I guess you missed the posts on my superior steering system, rod
rigging and mylar sails!?

Now you know you only mentioned it because you thought it was better than
what the sailors here have. You stopped when you realized neither were new,
cutting edge or better.

Didn't you just SAY I don't mention sailing gear?

You only mentioned their value..... and that they were "racing" sails.... on
a boat used for cruising.

Good rigging aint worth crap if you can't crap.

Why not mount a porcelain toilet on your swim platform..... you can use the
rail to hang the TP.

I'm quite good when it comes to a simple course in fact.

"That-a-Way"... don't cut it as navigation Bobsprit!

Based on the computer skills shown in this group, you probably do
beleive that.

Not really.... I know he's just your lap-dog... nobody could be that stupid
and post here [Ganz excluded] without having to seek shelter under someone's
skirt. Does he do tricks... other than licking your balls?

I thought your boat was 1.01 times my boat until I read the Nordica 30
wsebsite. Now we all know it's even worse than Doug's Hunter 19.

I thought you had a bought a nice boat ... till I saw it. Good Grief what
were you thinking??

Why did you buy an off the rack, plastic look-a-like then? My boat
isn't
cramped unless you're grossly overweight....

It's better for people who are grossly short and don't need 7 foot long
berths. We prefer a comfortable place to sleep and a nice cabin just
for our son!

Why did you buy an off the rack, plastic look-a-like then?

You keep singing that song, but as most people pointed out the 35s5 is
distinctive looking, more so than your boat which was also bought off
the rack. The only difference is my rack was smart enough to build
boats that were good enough to last and stay in business!

That
last sentence of yours "issues"... sounds like a Ganz comment.

And Ganz has had you barking like a nuetered pup for weeks.

You only mentioned their value.....

Trolls are more effective when you spice them with some reality. I went
on and on about how the Whitlock steering had better feel and was more
reliable. And it costs more too!

"That-a-Way"... don't cut it as navigation Bobsprit!

Sure it does!

Not really.... I know he's just your lap-dog...

I think he enjoys playing with Pavlovian pups and he does it very well.

thought you had a bought a nice boat ... till I saw it. Good Grief
what
were you thinking??

I was thinking that I wanted a boat that looked nicer than yours, with
more room than yours, with more speed than yours, with higher value
than yours, with better fit and finish than yours and that's what we
bought. I'm done with tired old boats that can't get out of their own
way with rotting interiors, Mooron. That's what you own, and by your
own admission! Meanwhile 35s5's just won several big races in the last
few months and two have circumnavigated that I know of. I can't find a
Nordica that has done anything more than get a full restoration!

Oddly enough that mimics what most people claim when shopping for a power
boat.

The only "definitive" thing about the 35s5... is that it resembles a Hunter

Well Bobsprit... if that was your goal... you failed dismally. You bought an
off the rack, cheaply built, coastal sailor that looks like every other
chlorox bottle at your dock. The only redeeming factors are it's spray and
wipe interior.

Now Bobsprit...... you know that Teak doesn't rot. Unlike the plastic shelf
liner your boat has for interior decor..... wood can be worked... while your
printed plastic will fade and eventually peel. Keep in mind that Nordicas
are worth restoring.... while your boat in as many years won't be worth a
plugged nickel.
While my Nordica has won races..... your boat hasn't. While my boat handles
ocean states easily... your boat becomes stressed, pounds and sails wet. It
screams "Cheap" while at the dock and can't be safely sailed in any waves
over 3 feet due to twisting and flexing of the hull.

power
boat.

No, it mimics modern design for sailboats, most of which have swim
platforms and aft cabins even with less LOA!!! Busted!!!!

The only "definitive" thing about the 35s5... is that it resembles a
Hunter

That's quite an eye you have there. Most people comment on the French
aspects of the design, even Bob Perry. But then I'm amazed when lubbers
think a Pearson 36 looks like a Pearson 35. Since you bought a vessel
with admittedly bad workmanship, it's no wonder that you can't see the
difference. Oh, and plenty of folks here commented favorably on her
looks. Busssted!

Well Bobsprit... if that was your goal... you failed dismally. You

chlorox bottle at your dock. The only redeeming factors are it's spray

How did I fail? My boat IS faster than yours. Built to a much higher
standard than yours by a wide margin...and far more expensive in every
way! BUSTED!

Now Bobsprit...... you know that Teak doesn't rot. Unlike the
plastic shelf
liner your boat has for interior decor..... wood can be worked

Anything can be worked, replaced, restored and so on. But I don't want
to miss a whole summer of sailing doing it as YOU DID!!! Busted!!!

It
screams "Cheap" while at the dock and can't be safely sailed in any
waves
over 3 feet due to twisting and flexing of the hull.

You do know that the 35s5 uses solid glass re-enforced with a grid to
create a very rigid structure. No flexing reported ever, no blisters
and no full full restorations required, as on your boat!!! Uber Busted!

While my Nordica has won races..... your boat hasn't. While my boat
handles
ocean states easily... your boat becomes stressed, pounds and sails
wet.

I just got my 35s5, dopey! But a 35s5 just won the Quadrasolo and
Atlantic The Telegram Cup. Real races, Mooron, in open ocean. I can't
even find a Nordica 30 that circumnavigated, but two 35s5's did!!!
Oh...ULTRA BUSTED!!!!

Ah, maybe you'll become a bit of a racer after all - got a link for that?
It's always nice to see a brightly coloured spinnaker ballooning out in
front of a boat as it barrels downwind.
