Milestones in Alt.sailing.asa History
2002: Scotty, Doug and others are pussified to learn and see pics of shackles used on boats at two marinas after swearing they don't exist! Desperatly they try to accuse Bobsprit of planting all of the shackles! 2002: Dr. Armpit fights with Bobsprit and most probably keels over at his keyboard inside his trailer. 2002: Ed Gordon driven off by Bobsprit. 2002: Bobsprit beats down Capt. Neal easily and again. 2001: Doug, Steve and others claim that they'd raise anchor and attempt to sail into a squall in progress to avoid risks of dragging an anchor! 2002: Doug;s credibility is dashed when it's revealed that he owns the goofy and poor sailing Hunter 19 "cruiser." 2003: Scotty potty throws a tantrum when he learns Bobsprit played a joke on the group on plans to buy a lowly Catalina 30. But Scotty Potty's just mad to be outclassed yet again. 2002: Unable to defend himself with his meager wit, Scotty Potty decided to offer up some violence, but actually tries to trick Bobsprit into legal trouble. As usual he fails. 2005: Everyone learns that the Nordica line of boats is hilariously cheap and low end, plagued with problems. Mooron himself is caught admitting his interior is poorly done. 2005: Loco Sloco is once again one-upped, first by a nicer C&C 32, then by a FAR nicer and also faster Beneteau 35s5. 2002-2006: Loco Sloco remains unable to provide a SINGLE picture of a "nice" Express 30 interior, but has excuses for many pics showing sad looking dated interiors! 2003: Ignoring both the quiet and those willing to be Honest, Scotty Potty actually takes a step down from his Mac with a lowly Siedlemann 30. Desperately he continues to claim that "he likes his boat." 2004: Bobsprit visits the Thimble Islands and provides pics, ****ing off the group who stayed home that (and every) weekend. Other local trips are treated with the same disdain. 2004: Mooron complains that Bobsprit makes a pass of Port Jeff at night (A place he's never been to) claiming it's an easy well marked entrance. Then he's thoroughly busted to learn even the NE Cruising Guide suggests care when entering at night. 2004: Doug buys a Trawler and stays on the list for some reason. 2006: Jeff admits his Catamaran his not much fun to sail. 2006: Scotty suggests that people who like to sail don't take photos of sailing!!! 2002: A fellow named Jax completely trashes various members with info culled right from Moyer's definitive text on Atomic 4 engines. The poor fools have no idea of what Jax is doing to them...and so easily. 2006: Joe decides he might have some clout if he posts as Capt. Rob and Suzy. 2006: Katy accuses Bobsprit of having a boat load of electronics, then realizes she had more! 2005: The group is saddened to learn that father time is forcing Old Thom to sell his boat. 2005: Steve returns to the group, now with now real boat of his own. 2005: Bob Crantz fails in almost every way to discredit the Beneteau 35s5. 2005: After Crantz finds losses for the 35s5, Bobsprit posts MAJOR wins for the boat; in fact more than most others....including the Quadrasolo, Rolex and Telegram the Atlantic. 2005: Bobsprit finds two 35s5's that have circumnavigated...but no Nordica 30's Catalina 28's or PDQ 36's to match the feat. 2001-2006: Virtually all members talk a good game of sailing, but no one seems to own a camera or ever post pics of their sailing except for Bobsprit. Failure pressures Steve and Doug out of owning sailboats. Posting volume increases. Joe posts the same newspaper style shot of his ugly steel boat. We learn that Scotty's wife is an Ed Norton (From the sewer!) look-a-like. Mooron leaves his boat on th hard. Joe get's bitter. Sloco flips out when Bobsprit owns fast car, boat and probably trains as well. John Cairns proves with his Catalina 28 that he utterly lacks imagination. The group alternates from being critical of the 35s5's unique looks, then for looking like everything else! Ahhhhh YESSSSS!!!!! BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHA!!!! 2005: Bob finally works up the courage to sail more than a mile from
his slip .. but discovers that his mooring line is too short! I didn't have a boat in the summer of 2005, but this did happen in 2004, but it was actually the shore power cable that was too short. RB 35s5 NY |

Take some time off and see if you can hire someone to give you better
material. You mean like the material used to strengthen the Nordica hull shown rotted out on the Nordica website? RB 35s5 NY |
