Why didn't you buy a nice boat? I'm not saying you had spend 50K + like
I did, but why didn't you buy a boat that is NOT the insider's joke of
production boats? Even a Hunter would have been preferable. Even
Beneteau had some crappy early boats you could have bought and they
would have sailed better. Even O'Day had better built boats than your
choice. Why not a Pearson 30 or C&C 29 or even a Bristol 27...boats
that are legends...?
Why did you buy something renowned to be so awful, from build quality
to sailing performance, that it sells in the 2-4K range, less than
1/3rd of a Catalina 30!? Didn't you care to own something nice for once
in your life.
I'd like to know the thought process that goes into buying such a boat.
Is it the same when you buy food, cars and electronics? Do you ever
treat yourself to something nice?
Maybe...just maybe...you should.

Search the ads. Make calls. See boat. Fall in love. Dig up cash
jar in back yard. Go sailing.

Yes, I buy what I like, not what will impress others

Then why did you come here and ask for feedback in the boat. When the
feedback was negative you bought it anyway!

Is that your rational behind that dated, butt ugly, 2nd rate, flimsy,
Mak-Tak lined, plastic dock condo you bought Bobsprit?

That is one seriously ugly boat. It looks like a Mac26X on steroids. How do
you even call those gear storage areas "Staterooms" without turning red
with embarrassment? Your "Stateroom" complete with "dropped ceiling"... next
to the engine room!! Hoo Haaaa.... too funny. The best part is you thought
that the plastic shelf liner was real teak!!! Ha Ha Ha!!! Those curved
ports are just way too comical. The head at the bow...
Bwahahahahahahahahahahahaaaaa.... just what you want!! I bet your extra
large head has an industrial sized TP roll.

Yup... Bobsprit bought a "Charter Boat" built for light tropical water
sailing to use for day sails in NYC! .... and he asks others why they bought
their boat???

Bwahahahahahahahahahahahaaaaaa.....

And you accuse ME of being asleep at the wheel, Mooron? Can you ever do
or say what we DON'T expect? Must you always ride on Scotty and Bob's
trolls? Afraid to take them on, are you? Actually, I've never seen you
take anyone on except Ganz.
I think...though I'm not sure....that your may be a pussy.

Whoa..... that _MUST_ be a Record!!!....... I don't believe that lure
sunk more than an inch before Bob struck it like a demented grouper!

Oh Yeah... Oh Yeah... Who Da Man... I Da Man!

Ha ha ha ha ha ha....

Heh Bob... I'll make it easy for you... every troll from now on will feature
a "" Brand!
That way you can probably stifle that urge to bite... at least for a few
minutes!

bwahahahahahahahahaha,

Indeed your right Mooron about the gear storage area on the 35s5. Nice
area to clutter with junk, blocks and tackle, maybe some spare
sails.....but a horror chamber oven of a berth. Give's me a backache
just looking at it. Could you imagine if you threw a rod thru the
engine block.... ""?
