Facing Facts
Let's face it: The Nordica 30 is poorly designed and certainly lacking
in structural integrity. Have a look at this gag-awful Siedlemann 30 interior... http://www.seidelmann-owners.com/Day...ges/image8.jpg It may be ugly and dated, but it's clearly held together better than Mooron's Nordica 30 below. Considering that the Siedlemann is one of the cheapest boats EVER built per foot, what can we conclude from this? The Nordica may be wrapped in pretty lines (and I do like her looks), but good build quality is not her strength. Looking at the Nordica 30 website they show a vessel using timber for structural integrity and support for cabin components...all rotted away and that's the backbone of the boat! Read about it HE http://www.nordicaboats.com/html/projects.html Deck leaks, hull/deck join leaks and more. The boat is a nightmare, perhaps even more so than Scotty's boat. RB 35s5 NY |

I wish mine were like that, instead of the painted plywood and contact paper I have. Scotty |
