Default Scotty's mistake

Huh-uh. In fact I'm proposing that those of you who've
been sales tax
exempt should have an additional 5% tacked on just to make

up for all the
sales tax you didn't pay before.

What about churches and other non=profit groups?

C'mon, that whole 'seperation of church & state' thing is so
'90s. We're past that now.

Now there are two kinds of churches, those that will pay
taxes to the Feds and those that recieve "Office of
Faith-Based Initiative" grants.

I love Chicago, but I'm prejudiced--I live an hour and
one-half from it.

Ever been on 'the loop; during rush hour?

Labor rates are too high, and American auto companies

haven't
quite got it figured out yet that people want

reasonably-priced,
economically-operated automobiles,

Is that why half the cars on the road are big SUVs?

And when gasoline prices start knocking on $3, everyone with them panics and
tries to trade for a Prius, but no one is interested in taking them.

Have you niticed the car ads touting the 'bigger is better'

Is that why Ford dropped the Excursion from their lineup?

Why do the States have income taxes, even though most have a
sales tax, Max?

They're just like Bill Clinton: Because they can.

Whatever happened to that monstrosity that International was going to build?
It was built on their biggest panel truck chassis and looked like a small
semi-tractor with a pickup bed. My son-in-law and I watched nubile young
females crawl up into the cab of that thing at the Chicago Auto Show for
about ten minutes. What a babe magnet, despite being four times the size of
a Ford Excursion.

Therefor, wealth has been redistributed.

Once again I'll ask you to show me where in the Constitution any of that is
provided for. Income tax, a temporary measure at the time it was incepted,
is not a provision of that document,

Hmmm..... what about the 16th Amendment, is that not part of the
Constitution. Does your interpretation not include the amendments?

Cheers

Obviously you and LP have used Xanax. For those of us who haven't, mind
filling us in?

Geez, Max! You are starting to sound like Jon Ganz with the accusations.

The reason I know about grapefruit juice and medications is because I've
been taking care of my Grandmother for the last 10 years. She is 89 and has
been in the hospital for a least a month or more each year for the last 4
years. This last December, the Arab doctor nearly killed her with
medications. At least one of her medications for her heart condition can't
be taken with grapefruit juice.

When Bob Crantz mentioned the grapefruit juice, I just assumed it was one of
the many meds you can't take with it. Now you are accusing me of being a
druggie. Maybe you should jump rope instead of jumping to conclusions?
