Taking a boat up the east coast from Florida to NY; found a wonderful site
with animations of the position of the Gulf Stream (
http://rads.tudelft.nl/gulfstream/ - it's fascinating how little variation
there is from one week to the next until well off Hatteras ) but having
less luck finding paper charts in enough detail ; I picture myself 100
miles or so off Georgia wondering if I'm in it or out of it, or if I'm on
the eastern or western edge.
