Default You sailors are total retards!

How can you post over 250 posts a day and still call yourselves sailors?
(except my sweetie Crantz, of course)

Of course you don't, Rev Crantz. Why own one (boat) when the "rich folks"
are too busy working to afford their boats? Nothing like sailing theirs
when they are working! heheeee

Do you like to repel on the mountains?

Rappel

I've rappeled this a few times. It's called "The Maiden" in the Flatirons in
Boulder. You have to climb it first.

I've also rappeled down this:

It was about 35 rappels to get down.

I also rappeled on this:

I hate rappeling, it is dangerous.

Holy moly... isn't that the Eiger??

It's those sudden stops at the bottom.
Anyway it's less dangerous than free falling the same
descent. Remember, all is relative!

I only went RAPPELLING mostly in my neighborhood at Keystone Lake just west
of Tulsa, where I lived on the lake and had a little boat across from the
sailing "hangar". Once I repelled off a bridge, wasn't prepared for that
and it scared me a bit...

LP

Now where exactly would you rappell on Lake Keystone?

Try it out of a chairlift that's 70' above ground. No rock to push off from
or to land against--just air.

We used to do this with 5mm Perlon when I was a pro ski patrolman at
Breckenridge in the 70s. The Perlon was good for one trip only, and it was
approximately 30% longer when we hit ground. This was SOP for
self-evacuating a chairlift in the event of a breakdown.

Did he say rappelling? Hell, he meant he was fishing with a Rapala.

Right by my house on the lake, for one. Many small cliffs on the
waterfront.
