Default SCORE!!!! Score & SCORE!!!!

Mainsail has arived!!! The condition is LIKE NEW. The oirginal owner
said he only used the sails a few times and beat up his cruising sails
most of the time. He wasn't kidding. The sail is basically new. I also
got a lazy jack system thrown in. For 1200 bucks plus my trade this is
just astounding to get a Kevlar main, Pentax-Mylar genoa and lazy jack
kit! I won't see the genoa until next week, but the loft said it's in
95% of the condition of the main. To say I'm thrilled is putting it
lightly.

Then...I got a call from a friend in CT who just moved and needs to
empty his garage. He's giving me his Yamaha 8 LS 4 stroke outboard!
Whoo hooo!!!

And finally, this morning, my yard finished a salvage of a Pearson 36.
The boat is loaded with gear, which I'll get to cherry pick!!! Double
whoo hoooo!!!!!!!

Am I lucky or what???!!!!

For the sake of brevity and to give the rest of the posters a well deserved
keyboard break.... please allow me to summarize the pending replies to this
troll.

Now all you need is real wood in that bleach bottle coastal sailer!!

Let's see... Vinyl interior, Vinyl sails.... you know what the siding
salesmen always say... Vinyl is Final.

The kicker won't start, the sails will be impossible for you to handle and
there won't be a usable item for you to salvage and pawn on Ebay!!!

You're boat with sails like that makes about as much sense as gold plating
the grill on a Lada.

Let's hope that Pearson has some "Safety Equipment" you can salvage and
use.... gawd knows you need it.

A 4 stroke... talk about overweight and useless.....

Okay.... that should about cover it? :-)

Thanx and I'll be here all week.

You bought used sails? Don't you know how to order new ones,
or did the sailmakers laughing discourage you?

Tried.... the Ents came and took it back, they didn't want
any wood to be embarassed.

Are you thinking "Viking funeral"?

Nah, you can sell *any*thing on Ebay.

That's some actual good news, hope you have a good week.

You know why? A hockey team from North Carolina won the
Stanley Cup, everybody is staying sober & going to work with
a new sense of determination to see it doesn't happen again.

But you don't know me or know anyone who knows me!
BTW, if I'm so awful, why did you calls me to meet a certain lady
sailor? Remember those calls, Bart? Or will you now LIE to the group
and claim we never had some pleasant conversations?
Hmmmmmm?

Well said, Mooron! I guess you finally figured out that after close to
17 years, my 35s5 still looks 5 years old while your spare parts deluxe
looks 50 years old and shows even more wear.

The kicker won't start,

It's only a year old!

the sails will be impossible for you to handle

That's because you're used to handling bedsheets!

You're boat with sails like that makes about as much sense as gold plating
the grill on a Lada.

The sails were made for the 35s5 and most carry fast sails.

Let's hope that Pearson has some "Safety Equipment" you can salvage and

Yup, just got back from the yard. Lot's of stuff for our boat on the
Pearson and plenty for ebay of course.

A 4 stroke... talk about overweight and useless.....

I don't plan to keep it.

Okay.... that should about cover it? :-)
