When you pan the camera around the motion is much to fast and jerky. The passagers should introduce themself when they come into the screen, or wave. The lighting was OK but a nice reflector on the sail shot seems in order. Maybe a better script next time. And the wardrobe dept should tone down the and mix costumes a bit better. Not bad but could use some improvement. Joe |

Joe The obvious stuff is that the lines are a mess, which is a hazard, and the people aren't wearing PDFs, which is a poor example for children aboard. -- "j" ganz @@ www.sailnow.com |

Spot the Errors!?
Why does the guy steering have to stand on the swim platform? Shouldn't the
binnacle be further forward? Line against hatch. Wrong sail twist. No handle in active winch. End of throw line not fixed to boat. Kids not wearing life jackets, it is required by law! |

I can tell you the errors without even looking at the video. 1) Cover is still on the compass. 2) Fenders hanging over the sides 3) Captain is way too fat 4) Women are pasty white 5) Jib is sheeted incorrectly so it's flapping. 6) Motor is running Wilbur Hubbard |

Spot the Errors!?
First the microphone is picking up way to much wind noise, get a big
foam ball for it. It's a digicam, so really no simple way to cut the wind noise. When you pan the camera around the motion is much to fast and jerky. I was practically falling off the boat as I was holding the camera, my binoculars, and my cell phone. The passagers should introduce themself when they come into the screen, or wave. Good point. The lighting was OK but a nice reflector on the sail shot seems in order. Problemmatic with my dark kevlar and mylar. Maybe a better script next time. Oliver Stone worked on it. He also wrote Conan The Barbarian. RB 35s5 NY |

Line against hatch.
Correct! Wrong sail twist. Correct! No handle in active winch. Wrong! With a child in the cockpit we no longer leave handles in winches. End of throw line not fixed to boat. Wrong. It is attached and a tie with a snap is all that holds it. Kids not wearing life jackets, it is required by law! Wrong. Thomas is wearing his jacket. RB 35s5 NY |
