Anyone know if the cut at the intersection between Clear Lake
Channel and the Houston Ship Channel into Trinity bay will
allow a 5 foot draft boat through (at mean low water tide)?

The atomic clock he's been monitoring stopped working, the last tide table
available is from 1971, so it's a worst-case scenario... ? And, it would be
mean low low water.

Chart number 11327, latest version is from October, 2004. I have
the previous version as well. It shows Red Fish Island as an island.
The current version shows it to be a submerged reef. It's been
resurrected as an island since I arrived from Palacious three years
ago.

I was looking for some local knowledge. Guess there's only one way
to get that. Oh well, I haven't run aground since the delivery.

I'm thinking about name my next boat Local Knowledge because all
of the cruising guides say, "but don't go there without" ...
