Default Red Pine

Although red pine (pinus resinosa) is a good boat-building lumber, it's
never mentionned in the group.
It has good structural qualities and is abundant in the Northeast US, the
Lakes and Southern Quebec and Ontario. Does anyone have any experience using
red pine? Specifically red pine and epoxy.
TIA
Yan
