HELP! Need suggestions on making mast & sails

I made an 8' stitch and glue dingy. My first effort. I bought a
closet clothing pole and wrapped it with epoxy impregnated fiberglass
tape. then made the sail out of tyvec tarp. haven' t broken it yet.
