Gil, my first impulse was to make some remark about it not being a Tahiti Ketch, if it had a hard chine.. However, once I looked at the picture I will have to say that she does look fine and still retains some of the profile and character of the Hanna design. Thanks for the visual.. This boat actually just sold off Ebay, I believe.

I first thought about a Tahitiana, but the Tahitiana is a multi chine boat. This one has one... Maybe a one-off inspired by the Tahiti.. Anyone else has an idea? Sincerely, Gil. |

Westom Farmer designed the Tahitiana, a multi chine boat. I actually have a set of plans. However, this boat has one chine. It certainly looks a lot like one, and I first thought it was. Sincerely, Gil. |

I'm just saying that it looks like a Tahiti aside from the hard chine. I suspect that it was inspired by the Hanna design. Steve |

http://keskydee.com/sailing/images/PortSide.jpg Who the heck would want to put a flying bridge on a Tahiti? ;-) I think I _may_ know it's provenance, but am checking first. Stay tuned... Steve Stephen C. Baker - Yacht Designer http://members.aol.com/SailDesign/pr...cbweb/home.htm |
