Need "how to" for vacuum bagging
I got a surplus vacuum pump last fall, and a fiberglass guy just moved in
down the street. I have an out of production kayak that I love. Its narrow profile is perfect for the local waters. It is also overly heavy duty for the local sandy conditions, and the cockpit doesn't fit my big frame. I want to make a female mold from the bottom, and a new one for the top, with integral knee braces. I've done this, but I'm pretty clueless about how to vacuum bag. -- Robert Haston Satellite Beach, FL |

Need "how to" for vacuum bagging
West System publishes a useful booklet "002-150 Vacuum Bagging Techniques". I
recommend their more general how-to booklets, too. Robert Haston wrote: I got a surplus vacuum pump last fall, and a fiberglass guy just moved in down the street.
