SHIP REFITTING CREW REQUIRED

We are shortly to commence the refitting of one of our vessels. The
refitting will take place in the port of Monrovia, Liberia.

We are looking for the following crafts/tradesmen;

Metal Fabricator / Welder
With experience of cutting, fabricating, welding and braising, arc,
mig, tig and gas of steel plate, aluminium and steel pipe.

Electrician
With experience of refitting, servicing and installing industrial or
marine electrical systems including power distribution equipment, cable
installation and termination, and fixing lighting equipment and power
outlets.

Plumber
With experience of refitting, servicing and installing steel pipework
for drinking water and waste water, valves and pumping systems.

Carpenter
With experience of fitting and refurbishing of wall linings, doors and
frames, general carpentry and the fabrication of built in furniture and
control consoles.

Painters
With experience of stripping existing metal surfaces, preparing and
repainting with industrial / marine paint. Both internal and external
works. Application by brush, roller and spray.

Electrical Engineer
With experience of industrial or marine power control systems, power
generation, alternator synchronisation and panel wiring.

Diesel Fitter
With experience of large diesel propulsion engines, diesel generator
engines, and ancillary lubrication and cooling systems.

Refrigeration Engineer
With experience of industrial or marine refrigeration and air
conditioning systems.

Labourer
Experience an advantage, required for general duties assisting the
trades as outlined above.



Accommodation, food and travel expenses included.

Contract terms available between one and sixth months - longer by
requirement and negotiation. Salaries are available tax free and
negotiated on an individual basis subject to trade and experience.

Contract due to start September 2005

For safety reasons you must be able to speak English to an acceptable
standard and be between 18 and 55 years old.
