Ok, my brother bought a nice 1978 Monarch tri-hull with alpha 1. 185 hp
chevy engine.

Unfortunately, he was backing up to a curb with the outdrive in down
position and well..it destroyed the aluminum prop. He was wanting to
get a new one because it was kind of nicked up anyhow, and knew it hurt
the performance a bit. So, it really wasn't a total loss.

Now the bad pard. Fortunately the lower end isn't hurt and the shaft[s]
are OK, but when looking the hub and vanes over we can't find a number
on the propeller..anywhere!

It's aluminum, and chances are it's either stock, or has been a
replacement, but no identification at all. We're ASSUMING it's a stock
pitch, but not sure.

can anyone tell me what would be the proper size prop for this boat?
Mercruiser or Michigan wheel, part number, etc? I've searched all the
"props.coms" I can find and they have a host of listings, but don't
tell what came out OEM on the craft . They seem to show the "you tell
us what you want, and we have it" line....

Any help is greatly appreciated.
