I don't think XM or Sirius guarantee coverage more than 200 miles off the
continental US shores. Because of the satellite orbits XM is iffy in the Bahamas and cuts out completely south of there. Sirius seems to work reasonably well in the Virgin Islands and fairly well down to St. Martin. -- Glenn Ashmore I'm building a 45' cutter in strip/composite. Xsomething- in a silver deck-a-butts sized box. $13 a month and no commercials. Opera, Jazz, Industrial DeathThrashMetal, Classical,.. both Country AND Western! My boat is 12v/220ah. Is it commercial free until they sell enough to become penetrating and then it's the SOS? Are you borrowing money in the form of a subscription? Thanks and keep paddling. |
