So much for the protecting the environment argument. Those guys came
down to Georgia back in the '80's. Screwed up a few thousand acres of virgin salt marsh and didn't find enough gas to make a decent fart. The cost to Kerr McGee to dig a well would be $20 million to $25 million. -- Glenn Ashmore I'm building a 45' cutter in strip/composite. Just wait until Kerr-McGee finds out that each and every thing they
bring to Bahamas that floats: tugs, drilling rigs, crew ferry vessels, moring balls, etc. etc. etc. ... will incur a $300 fee !!!!! Wanna bet against their being exempted under some provision? Hold it! Look again: "Kerr McGee Bahamas Limited". As "Bahamians", they wouldn't be subject to the tax. -- Jere Lull Xan-a-Deux ('73 Tanzer 28 #4 out of Tolchester, MD) Xan's Pages: http://members.dca.net/jerelull/X-Main.html Our BVI FAQs (290+ pics) http://homepage.mac.com/jerelull/BVI/ |
