I will happily send an email and a letter. I will also ask readers of
my website (sailorgirl.com) to send in complaints.

Please let me know where to send them. I'd like both an email and a
snail mail address. Thanks!

I had sent them an email complaining about the fee. They said they had put it
in effect but because of the amount of complaints they had taken it off until
they do a study about it. I would recommend everyone that objects the high fee
send them an email or letter and tell them. That way they may realize it will
cost them a lot of money from people who will not go there.

I sent them two emails (to the two addresses that I had) saying just
that. I'm sure many other people have done so too. It seems to have
had no effect. They took it off and have (as far as I can tell)
reinstated it, and even are charging for dinghies in some instances
now.

But the other reason that we won't go to the Bahamas anymore is
because of the requirement to check in at immigration in person which
is a stupid idea which only inconveniences honest people and does
nothing to prevent smuggling or terrorism. That's not the Bahamas
fault.
