Richardsons' Florida Keys & Bimini Chartbook + Cruising Guide
 

Is anyone familiar with this chartbook? I have used Maptech in the
Chesapeake for years and have found them to be very good. I have never
sailed the waters of southern Florida and want to spend my chart money
wisely.

Maptech is OK for Florida, but not for Bimini. Their charts are off
by about a mile - at least they were two years ago when I asked them.
The best charts for the Bahamas are the Explorer charts (I think the
one you will want is the Near Bahamas). I do use the Maptech charts
on the computer.

I have no particular experience with the Richardson's Guide.
